Intervention Leads to Progress in Delayed Registration Applications

Sector:
Vehicle Import Coordination

Status:
Resolution in Progress | Processing Times Improving

Overview

Titan Tides was engaged to support multiple clients whose imported vehicles required registration and licensing through the Western Cape registering authorities. While we were not responsible for submitting the applications directly, we provided supporting documentation and liaised closely with our appointed Import Vehicle Registrations Agent to facilitate the process.

As delays began to impact multiple clients, we compiled and submitted a detailed spreadsheet of outstanding cases — including task numbers, client identifiers, and registering authorities — in an effort to escalate the matter and gain traction with the relevant department.

Resolution

A formal appeal was submitted to the Department of Mobility, outlining the nature and scope of the unresolved cases. Through persistent follow-up and clear presentation of the backlog, the matter was acknowledged, and progress soon followed.

Since this intervention, previously stagnant applications have begun moving forward, providing relief to clients and restoring trust in the process.

The Outcome

    • Delays formally acknowledged by authorities

    • Applications showing movement after long periods of inactivity

    • Clients reassured through transparent updates

    • Liaison channel established for future cases

Key Insight

While we do not directly submit registration applications, our hands-on support, document preparation, and willingness to escalate issues when necessary allows us to bridge the gap between clients and administrative systems.
